I get the hang on my Thinkpad T60 too. It's happened 3-4 times today already. It appears to be related to the desktop visual effects - I have now turned off the effects and have not had a hang for several hours.<br>Not so pretty though:-(

I can confirm the hangup - I get exactly the same symptoms on my Thinkpad T60 - it never happened previously.

Interpid Ibix is not a good release.

It will automatically noot boot up if I have anything puggled into my Silicon Image controller on my Abit AB9 Pro. It says it cain't find a hard drive UUID or something.

It doesn't matter if I ahve all me hard drives puggled in or not when install, if I puggle one in, it will not boot. These worsk fine in WindoOWs.

There are also alother bugs that make it unusabull to me. Turd release, I might go back to VISTA.

Upon upgrading to 8.10, the ubuntu upgrade manager decided to remove all 733 packages rendering the system useless.
